As a stable and crisis-resistant Swabian family business, in the 2nd generation, we overcame the Corona stress test well. Ausgezeichnet mit dem begehrten Produkt Award in Silber wurden wir 2020 in der Kategorie textile Bodenbeläge nicht nur für unsere nachhaltige Produktqualität, sondern auch für den Service. Mit Best- noten bewertet wurden z.B. die aussagestarken Produktinformationen, die persönliche Beratung und das Vertrauen in die Marke. Nachhaltigkeit + Cradle-to-Cradle = Cradle-to-Cradle Challenge Award Die Sonderauslobung im Rahmen der Architects Darling Awards vereint zwei Umwelt- Konzepte in einem Award: einmal das Prinzip der Nachhaltig- keit und zudem das „Cradle-to-Cradle“-Konzept, das auf den Ökovisionär Prof. Michael Braungart zurückgeht. Das Ziel: solche Unternehmen zu ehren, die sich durch ihr nachhaltiges, verantwortungsvolles Handeln auszeichnen und anderen Herstellern als „gutes Beispiel“ dienen. Aus den Netzen und anderen Industrie- Abfällen wird – nach einem Regenerationsprozess – ECONYL®-Garn hergestellt. 70 % aller OBJECT CARPET Produkte sind schon aus ECONYL®-Garn. Die Unter- stützung von HEALTHY SEAS dient ganz konkret dazu, die Umweltverschmut- zung der Meere durch Plastik-Abfälle zu minimieren und rettet beim Bergen der Netze auch Tiere, die sich in den Netzen verheddert haben, wie z.B. die Meeresschildkröte. Zur Bewerbung der Initiative wurde extra ein neues Design entwickelt: VELAA. Für jeden verkauften Quadratmeter VELAA spendet OBJECT CARPET 5% des Umsatzes an die Meeresschutz-Organisation HEALTHY SEAS. So kann jeder Kunde teil der Unterstützung des Projekts werden. To promote the initiative, a new design was specially developed: VELAA. For every square meter of VELAA sold, OBJECT CARPET donates 5% of its sales to the marine protection organisation HEALTHY SEAS. In this way, every customer can form part of the support of the marine protection project.
